Just put my baby to bed unswaddled..

.. For the first time lol. Shes almost 6months. Its just getting far too hot to keep swaddling. She's done the last week unwrapped for day sleeps ok. Hope she sleeps through lol. Wish me luck!

Braden had to be swaddled for like 7 months and only in the newborn swaddled. Soo funny shoving this giant baby in this tiny swaddle

I wish DS would have accepted my swaddling him! He startled himself awake so much when he was born but he would scream and fight until he was free no matter how tight I tried to keep it  

She lasted like an hour and now she's wide awake again lol. It's only 8pm here though so its all good!

My first daughter was one of them. She was still swaddled at about 8months.
Gosh it must be hot there! It's like 28 here during the day and I'm roasting lol

Ugh it's been horrible! You have a shower and then 10 minutes later you feel disgusting again! Plus all the flooding and rain has made it really humid. We were stuck in the mountains for a few days and it was about 27 at the hottest and then we get home and it's 36! I felt like dying

Wow I don't think Ive ever been in that kind of heat! 28 is pretty extreme in Auckland. It gets hotter in other places though. Humidity is the worst!
Are you near the flooding?

I half swaddle my 3 month old. I came to realize that while she was in hospital, that if I pinned down the arm that had the IV and left one are free she would sleep great. But having both arms free was a big no-no cause it was too much movement and would wake her up.

We did it at 5 months. They adjusted easily. Hope the same for you.
