birthing classes

anyone 30+ weeks doing birthing classes? if so, do you think there worth it?

I'm not currently pregnant but did do a birthing class around 30 weeks. Although they are very informative labor and giving birth is a very primitive type thing. I don't think I could have told you anything they talked about in that class while in labor.
If you have time to kill I would say go for it but I wouldn't stress about getting it done

I took Bradley classes w/ my first. They did nothing but scare the absolute smurf out of me. They made me think that if I had an epidural or had any help, they'd kill my baby.

I don't think anyone needs or even should take birthing classes. In my experience they did a LOT more harm than good.

I'm not pregnant,but with DS i never went to classes they seemed pointless. Everything came natural to me while i was in labor. So yes i think they're a waste of time.

Eh, to me they seem pointless. I just go with the flow during labor
