Crashing back down to earth

Had to do a paper today for English to get my credits to get into the course I want to do this year. I have two weeks to do it, but I got into the catch up course two days late. All good. Took me two days. I'm done. Score.

The English teacher there told me I was a better writer than her University students and most of the english professors she knows and I should seriously consider a career in writing. She was adamant saying I should definitely start a blog. I was feeling kinda chuffed since I haven't been in school for years so I was all "Feck yeah I'm all intellectual and smurf, I should write a blog about all my intellectual thinkings and smurf like that"

Then on the bus ride home I realise ... My life is far too boring to blog about. Like actually. Who wants to hear about how SOs sister spilling tea on my nice clean carpet was the most interesting thing to happen to me all week? LOL! Blog idea overrrrrrrrrrrr. But still. Made me feel smart for a moment.

You don't have to blog about your own life. If it's something you are super interested in, I am sure you could find something to write about.

I'm currently writing a book, I just don't know if it's interesting. SO says it's interesting but it's like ... Dude, what won't you do to get some of this good stuff?

Maybe do a short story blog or something. You could write it for adults or if you are creative maybe make one for parents and children.

Kind of off topic- my husband and I are over obsessed with our dog. And we will sometimes make jokes to her like, "Rylee will you go to work for me" Then he and I are like, how stinking cute would she look in a small hard had and tool box at her side lol. If I were more creative I would write short stories about her going on big adventures for children, but i'm not lol.

I'm thinking about doing a blog about my attempt at writing a paranormal erotica and then attempting to get it published as a gay romance novel in a culture obsessed with paranormal romance.
