Oh I agree I don't see anything wrong with it but whenever I told someone about it they would say it was disgusting lol. It sucked because I think it put SO off the idea a bit. I figured someone here would think it's gross.

Yes. He didn't want to know because it is creepy.
If my husband wanted some out of curiosity or a sexual interest, no problem. If he asked as he was thirsty, nope.

Quoting TheNuge:" <blockquote><b>Quoting kthx.:</b>" Breast milk is made for human consumption. Our ... [snip!] ... made to digest lactose (cows milk)."</blockquote> Then why do we have lactase? Why do other mammals wean their young?"

It's a mutation. Not everyone has the enzyme. I actually think the rough number of people who have that enzyme is only around 40%. All humans SHOULD be lactose intolerant.

And because all other animals can't pump and pour a cup of milk for their young. They aren't as civilized/advanced as we are, obviously. I'm sure the species would take a hit to their population if they had their young stuck to their teet for years.

It's just what society deems normal. Wearing clothing, avoiding passing gas in public... all considered social norms. They don't necessarily make sense but it's what we do.

We typically should be lactose intolerant. I am, which means I'm not a freaky mutant like all you non lactose intolerant people.

Quoting TheNuge:" <blockquote><b>Quoting kthx.:</b>" I mean, would you randomly walk up to your neighbor ... [snip!] ... SO have some if he asked."</blockquote> No, but what if they asked you for some of your all natural, human milk?"

I mean, if they had a legit reason for it. If someone was sick, sure. But no... I'm not going to pump breast milk and just give it away because someone likes it. I don't see anyone giving ME gallons of free milk because I like it.

There is a long laundry list of stupid smurf that society deems to be normal.

I'm pointing out the "naturalness / unnaturalness (not a word) of giving a healthy 9 yr old BMW on request.

What exactly is the problem with it? You stated that BM was only for toddlers and babies and I already debunked that.

Breast milk is loaded with lactose. Having lactase is not a mutation. Lactase production drops off as we age but most people have lactase enzymes.

Debunked it? How?
We are mammals. Mammals wean their young.

If they asked, and I could physically afford to do it, I would. No big deal.

I don't see how I could serve them up a nice tall glass of milk from a cow I've never seen and know nothing about with no issue, and then turn around and act grossed out or bothered by giving them my own milk that was actually made for human consumption.
