It's a mutation. Not everyone has the enzyme. I actually think the rough number of people who have that enzyme is only around 40%. All humans SHOULD be lactose intolerant.


And because all other animals can't pump and pour a cup of milk for their young. They aren't as civilized/advanced as we are, obviously. I'm sure the species would take a hit to their population if they had their young stuck to their teet for years.

It's just what society deems normal. Wearing clothing, avoiding passing gas in public... all considered social norms. They don't necessarily make sense but it's what we do.

We typically should be lactose intolerant. I am, which means I'm not a freaky mutant like all you non lactose intolerant people.

Breast milk is loaded with lactose. Having lactase is not a mutation. Lactase production drops off as we age but most people have lactase enzymes.

We are mammals. Mammals wean their young.

If they asked, and I could physically afford to do it, I would. No big deal.

I don't see how I could serve them up a nice tall glass of milk from a cow I've never seen and know nothing about with no issue, and then turn around and act grossed out or bothered by giving them my own milk that was actually made for human consumption.
