Can sitting too long cause BH?

posted 30th Jan
I am at work. I work a desk job so i'm constantly sitting at a desk. And I am wondering if it's normal to get BH every 5 mins due to being seated for so long. I have been sitting for almost 6 hours with bathroom breaks every 2 hours. I have been keeping track of my BH and they have been 5 mins apart for over an hour, without fail. I not experiencing any abdominal pain just slight back cramping. I have been drinking lots of water to make them stop but they aren't. Could this just be due to sitting for too long or what do you think?

If they've been that consistent for over an hour, I would say you need to go to L&D.

I went a couple weeks ago with the same issue but i was short of breath and my blood pressure was ski high. Once I got some rest there, everything went to be normal. I just hate to go again, when all i needed was rest.

Have you tried resting yet this time? If not, I would.

i get off work in 20 mins. And I plan to go right to sleep. I was just curious if sitting so long could be the cause of constantly having these BH?

  This.

Maybe it'll work this time, too.

I've never heard of sitting causing BH contractions, generally movement is what causes them. Sitting usually stops them. I could be wrong though.
