Generally if people are "anti" something, it's because they think it's going to hurt the people they love. Not because it's fun to be negative.

Betty White is pretty awesome.

Most of the "anti" statements I have seen are just people thinking they have the right to tell others how to live.

I'm anti-circumcision. I think it encroaches the boy's right to his own penis. I don't think I'm telling anyone how to live their life, unless insisting that you don't mutilate your infant's genitalia is telling someone how to live...?

Are you pro - anything? Because by default that would make you anti- something. And I fail to see how having an opinion on something is telling others how to live.
