warmed breast milk

say milk was refrigerated and then warmed....how long is it good for?

Kameron eats pretty much on demand. I'm getting my taxes done tomorrow and I just don't feel comfortable whipping out my boob to feed him in front of my tax guy. He takes a bottle fine but I won't have time to pump in the morning to take room temp milk with me. Should I just take it cold (and keep in an insulated bag) and if he's hungry enough he'll eat it? that seems a little cruel to me lol I don't think ill be there too long and hopefully if I feed him right before I leave the house he won't need to eat again until I'm done but i really have no idea how long it will take...

i know i can just nurse him if it really comes down to it, i would just prefer not to.

I never heat up my sons breastmilk. I've heard it alters the composition, so instead, if it's been in the fridge, I take it out, wrap it in a towel, and take it with me. It usually warms up on its own. Use it within 5 hours!

Fresh pumped milk is good for 4 hours at room temp. Just pump right before you go

wrap it in a towel to help warm it? or why wrap it in a towel?
