My husband joined the Marines in 05 and apparently had unpaid tickets before he left, he went to Japan, Afghanistan then North Carolina then he got out and we came back to TX, that's when they told him at the DMV when he was trying to renew his license that his license had been suspended and he has unpaind tickets and a warrant...we spent almost all our savings getting things taken care of because we knew we couldn't afford for him to go to jail...we had a 2 year old and I was 5 months pregnant then.

Evading them for 6 years? It took me 3 years to get money together for mine, but I didn't avoid it. If I went to jail I was good with that, but I didn't change my life to avoid it. Even got pulled over with a friend and the cop said "hey make sure you take care of this in the near future, this is your warning. "

That's what I immediately assumed, but what if its not?

Apart from the fact that we live in a different state now and he would probably have to fly down to Victoria to have things dealt with I just think that if it is to do with his warrants they have pretty much always known where he is so as much as HE shouldn't have avoided it all neither should the police.

My DH is not a bad person, we all do stupid things but right now would be the worst time for something bad to happen to us.

Well two years ago I didn't have a house with him, or two kids. I wasn't even pregnant then so yes, I don't care how stupid that sounds. I'm not blaming everyone but him, its not like he murdered someone though.

they always know where he is from his license address ect, if they want him they will come get him, they rang him, that means he has warning and can 'run' again if he wants so why would they bother, they would just come straight up there. guaranteed it has something to do with one of his smurf wit family members. ring them back and find out, theyre in a different state.

They warned you that they WOULD come if they wanted to. Looks like they're following through with their word. Silly cops always have a way of doing that.
