re: EPO

Thanks! Will do! I'm a FTM and I'm scared. I don't need the negativity from others I was just looking for help. But I guess sometimes there's too many hormonal women in one place lol.

Um, I don't know how this thread went but EPO is not used for inductions, it has nothing to do with inducing. It is only preparing your cervix for an easy delivery. I started inserting EPO at 30 weeks and taking four pills orally at 34 weeks.

I know. I never said I was trying to induce. I just wanted to help with dilation because I'm still not dilated and they are going to induce me a week from Friday if things don't get moving along.

I didn't think you were trying to induce.   It is silly to assume someone can with EPO, lol.
However, EPO did not help me, I went 42 weeks and I still had no dilation, a had cervix and no effacement. But it is still worth a shot.

Lol yea. Well thank you! I appreciate it. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm due Friday. I guarantee they'll have to induce me lol stubborn little boy. But I'm ok with that. Just didn't want to have to have a c- section. But whatever it takes to finally meet my baby.  

Ita actually a natural healthy supplement, it is like rasberry leaf tea, It wont 'induce' you all it does is help your body do what it needs to do, It has prostaglandins in it which is that they use (a MUCH stronger form of) in hospital to begin an induction, all EPO does is allow your cervix to dilate more easily, Here in the UK people take it from 38 weeks onward to prep the cervix. If you are really sensitive to prostaglandins there is a chance it could have a stronger effect and start dialtion but thats why you dont take it until 38 weeks. I havent taken it because i didnt know about it with M but if this was a normal pregnancy then i would be planning to with this baby, I have to ask my consultant if it is safe to drink RLT this time Soi might ask about this when I do,

Just to let you know I wasnt being negative nor did I say it was for inducing. You asked for opinions, well I have taken it. I dont think it will do anything in 2 days.
