I feel bad..

Today has just been an off day for DS. Four times he randomly started screaming, like blood-curdling screaming, and I couldn't get him to stop. I tried feeding him, nope. Changing his diaper, nope. Rocking or walking around, no. Teething tablets, didn't work. Something to gnaw on, nuh-uh. Nothingggg would get him to stop. It happened again at bedtime. I tried everything again and he just kept on screaming. I finally just had to lay him in his crib and walk away for a few minutes. I felt horrible letting him lay in there and scream, but he went right to sleep when I went back in there and rocked him for a few minutes.
Ughhh. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

It happens, don't beat yourself up for it... sometimes they need to just scream for a few minutes... I mean, doesn't it feel good to have a good cry now and then? You did everything you could and you rocked him to sleep... that's all that counts. Hopefully he sleeps good for you tonight.

the best advice I was given was if baby wouldn't stop crying to make sure they were in a safe place handbrake a breather.

I know it happens, but FOUR times? Ugh lol I think I need a good cry now haha He slept through the night last night (maybe because of the storms) so hopefully he does again tonight.
