I don't see how it's a recipe for disaster when he's gained 3 lbs in 3 weeks doing it the way the doctor told us to do it. if it's only 1 scoop per 2 ozs when it's at 4 it's to thin and he throws it all up. His pyloris muscle in his stomach is still thick so he has a harder time keeping any thin liquid down at all. So it's either I make it thin and we go back to him not gaining weight and not meeting milestones or make it thicker and he gain weight like he should.

I apologize, I misread. I thought you said you were adding 1 scoop formula and 1 scoop of cereal to 4oz water. It makes sense, my brain just didn't process it correctly.

lol ok no worries. I do do normal amount of formula that is required it's the cereal that changes. I would rather not have to add cereal to his bottle at all but he just doesn't do good without it. I can't see him end up in the Children's Hospital again that was hell to us!!
