Reopened child support case

I opened back up my child support case from last year on Jan 25th, and they told me no court date was needed and right away they would mail him a letter saying how much he owes because he has to pay back until the last time there was a court date...but i was checking my case online to see what's going on and it said this
LEGAL ACTION INITIATED FOR ENFORCEMENT OF CHILD SUPPORT AND/ OR MEDICAL SUPPORT; COURT DATE IS _4/ 25/ 2013_, PENDING SERVICE OF NCP. ARREARS ARE
(NCP stands for him , btw)
That's all it said what does that mean? that he didn't pay so they are taking it to court? or does it mean he wants to go to court??

You need to be in court on April 25th.

I see that but i don't get why, they said no court date was needed
My question is did he request it? or did they request it because he still has not paid?

I can't tell you that. I can just tell you that if you want your child support, you need to be at court on that date. You need to call and get the time you need to be there.

"pending service of NCP" sounds like he hasn't been served papers yet... if you haven't received notice of a court date, by say... mid-March, I would just call and ask.

I asked them 2 days ago if he has received papers yet for payment and they said yes, so he knows he needs to pay now. I guess i will call them tomorrow and ask.

He more than likely requested his day in court then. He has every right to... he may try to get his support reduced or something like that.

God....he does all he can to try to not care for his daughter i swear, in the mean time doesn't he still have to pay?

It will just keep adding up and they'll end up garnishing his wages, provided he has a job...

So he is still required to pay? what do i do if he never pays? he told me once that if i ever file again that he rather sit in jail than give me any money...and yeah he has a job i think..unless he lost it because knowing him he is on the run trying to hide.

Wow... let him rot in jail then. My dad job-hopped and worked under the table and my mom hardly got a fraction of what she was owed (according to her, anyway). If he doesn't pay, he doesn't pay... you'll have to make ends meet another way. Sucks, but a lot of deadbeat dads beat the system somehow.

He isn't smart enough, in GA they throw you in jail if you don't pay, than the government pays and he is screwed for the rest of his life.
