If you were having a baby tomorrow, what would you name them? boy and girl

If you already have a kid or two, do you have a "theme" or style? Are they named for anyone? Do you have any naming rules?




I have a son and a daughter. I wouldn't say there is much of a style, other than they are uncommon, but not unheard of. I guess their names fit our lifestyle, but aren't so obvious that they are ridiculous. We are into horses and rodeo so they sound like cowboy/cowgirl names to us, but can definitely work on their own outside of that world. I am a fan of alliteration though so they both have Cs in their name and our last name starts with C. It wasn't really on purpose, we just happened to like the way they both sounded. My son's middle name is my maiden name, and my daughter's name is similar to my mom's middle name and is actually her birth month as my way to honor her. My naming rules are simple: easy to say, easy to spell, uncommon, and spelled correctly.

If I had a baby tomorrow, its name would probably be either Thatcher or Kit....I think....

My SO is Hawaiian so first names are hawaiian with american/english middle names. If I had a boy it would be Kawailani (Ka-va-lani) Ethan and a girl her middle name would be Genevie(named for SO's Grandmother) but havent found a good Hawaiian first name to go with that yet. DD name is Noelani Jailynn now.

DS1: Elijah Lewayne Davis Autrey-first name is from the bible and middle names are after his paternal grandfather and maternal great-grandfather who are both deceased.
DS2: Brian James Autrey-named after my DH's best friend because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have my 3 beautiful boys and wonderful DH today  
DS3: Marc Wallace Autrey- named after my dad

If we ever have another kid and its a boy it will be Ian Matthew or if its twins it will be Ian Matthew and Reece(or whatever the boy spelling is lol) Patrick. If its a girl then Evangeline Faith(Evie for short) and twins Evangeline Faith and Emmaline Grace.

I have a daughter and her name doesn't have a theme but we were told up to my seventh month of pregnancy that she was a boy. We already had a diaper bag monogrammed, so when we found out we named her with the same initials that were on the diaper bag. I was hormonal and pregnant and refused to give up this diaper bag lol. Her name is Jenna Jolie.

But if I had a baby tomorrow, and it was a girl her name would be Adalyn Bryce and if it was a boy his name would be James Jay.

If I were having a LO tomorrow and my SO had no say in the name out would be Alaric for a boy and Lorelai for a girl. We had a baby boy almost a year ago and SO nixed the name Alaric as soon as we started telling about names haha

If I had a boy it would be Cael William, after my father.
Girl would be Eden Kathleen, after both of our mothers.

Right now ... Owen Earle or Fiona Noreen

I'm having a boy in May. We don't have a name for him.

I'd like to name him Oliver, but dad isn't going to let that happen.

Our Girls name was Coraline Violet.

I have a son named Tate Millan and a daughter named Bo Delainie.

Our only "theme" is single syllable first names. We also discovered that all our names have 10 letters. We didnt do it on purpose and actually the girl name I had picked for my son and boy name for my daughter didnt have 10 letters!!

Anyways, if it wss my choice a son would be Shaw Justin but hubby says no to Shaw so he would be Bram or Ames Justin.

A daughter would be either Sloan Carys or Grier Giada.

Boy: Tate William
Girl: Oakley Paige

I don't know about a theme, but I prefer slavic/eastern european names with Greek/Roman roots or origin. If I had a girl she would be named Vasilisa. I haven't put much thought into boy names recently.

The only theme I have is having a unique classic that is spelled right and on the right gender. We have an Alistair Evan. If I had a boy right now I would name him Caspian Amadeus, if I had a girl it would be Athena Juliette.

Ds1 is Wesley Dixon- his middle name is after a good friend of mine. Wesley was on my long list and the only thing that bd liked because of the old man in blade.
Ds2 is Colin Alan- his middle name is after my papa, DH decided because he realized I'm so much like him and he wants our son to be like him. Colin was the first name we agreed on and it stuck.
If we had a boy he'd be either Oliver Forrest or maxwell Forrest. A girl would be Lydia Marie or Lydia Annabelle.

Our rules are no names that end in y or n.

If I had a boy right now his name would be Uriah Edward. Edward for my great grandpa on my dads side.

If I had a girl-her name would be Tirzah Ann. Ann for my oldest sister/grandmother on my mothers side.

My theme is -ah names ;) I have a Jonah (Rion after a family pet I lost Orion that we called Rion for short) and an Anorah Kaylee (moms middle name Kay and great grandmas middle name Lee together) already.

My son now is Elijah "Maddox"
If i had a kid tomorrow boy would be Riley James.
Girl would be Piper Olivia or Piper Mckenzie
