2 year old comlaining of her vagina.

she says its itchy and hurts .... can I use monistat cream on her? lol we both are gonna be monistating it up tonight! lol she is 3 in June if it matters.

I used to get yeast infections ALL the time at her age. My mom used it on me.

Is there discharge?

If not, it may be a UTI.

I remember when I was little my mother would put corn starch in my panties when mine itched/burned. It helped tons!

Ah okay, yes that sounds like a YI. DD had one and I used monistat for 7 days. Cleared it right up.

I'd take her to the doctor tomorrow and see what they say.

last time she was like that i did, and she said it was yeast and made a perscription for nyastin?(sp)
but i dont have anymore of that or i would use it.

Oh ok. If she's had one diagnosed before then I guess it would be okay to treat it yourself if it looks the same to you.
