Quoting Demitreia Moore:" I won't refuse it only because my pelvic bones aren't very big and he is worried she won't fit through ... [snip!] ... I'm just concerned people have mentioned to me that its a lot worse because the pain is more intense .. ? Is this true.."In a lot of cases yes the pain is worse. With natural labor your body slowly builds up to full blown contractions. With an induction you're forcing your body to have contractions that are in most cases much more painful and intense than a natural one. Not the case for everyone but yes increased pain is more common. Which can lead to getting an Epi to soon which can cause labor to slow down and if you dont progress fast enough on the doctors schedule then leads to a c-section.

Quoting Demitreia Moore:" Yikes.. Well I planned on a natural drug free labor, I suppose we will see how long that last.. haha."How far along are you? Are you dilated at all?
Quoting Demitreia Moore:" When I'm induced I'll be 2 days away from my due date.. I'm 39 weeks at the moment."are you dilated at all? Usually if you are 3-5cm you can ask the doctor to just break your water vs. pitocin which will usually get labor going on its own especially if you're already having contractions.
