Question

If you do not know when you ovulated last and haven't had a period yet (I'm 6 weeks PP) How soon after having sex should you take a pregnancy test?

About 2 weeks after sex.

My OB told me to take a test 2 weeks after having sex but I guess it also depends on when the last time you had sex was too.

That's what I figured out. So I should definitely have a positive by feb. 14th if I am. I am not actively ttc it is welcome if I am pregnant but I won't be having unprotected sex for a looooong time after this. But I thought if I am pregnant I will make my telling SO he's gonna be a daddy part of his V-day present.

Thats cute! I did that with my third pregnancy. My AF was due on V-Day but I got a BFP instead. I told him by putting my two older boys in Big Brother shirts and then put the test(in a bag of course lol) in a card and gave it to him. Unfortunately, I lost the baby a week later but it was still fun to tell him on a holiday.

Aww I'm sorry for your loss. SO and I miscarried in 2010. DD is not his we were broke up and I got pregnant with her by someone else but he loves her like his own. But this would be SO's first bioligical child and although I would be scared to be pregnant again so soon I would be so excited for him.
