Holy..spelling...

My son is 6 and he doesn't do anything like that. He's a kid, sure he'll be a brat sometimes. Maybe he needs a little extra attention from you guys since there is a new baby coming. Try including him in things that include the baby, etc. Maybe even get him a little something once the new baby is here, like a balloon or a gift.

Nope my daughter is 5.5yo. She has her moments but overall she's a good kid. Even with her younger brother. She loves her school too.

How much positive attention do you give him on a daily basis? (Just curious) do you involve him in baby preparation?

I've noticed with my daughter is if she gets yelled at or spanked or any form of negative punishment, it just backfires. Positive reinforcement really works with her.

wha is his bedtime? how much sleep does he get at night? maybe make his bedtime be an hour earlier sounds like he needs a bit more sleep also try involving him more make tshirts let him make his own big brother shirt and a little brother shirt maybe some saturdays you do something just the two of you like bowling and other saturdays him and hisdad do something just the two of them talk to his teacher see if you can find a trigger that causes him to get mouthy and to not listen also a routine is really important

I agree...

My sons is a terror and we have our days where we are at odds with each other. But I know when I put down everything, computer, phone turn off the tv, music.. and its just me and him we can do things. And its nice. Try spending one on one time with him. It could really help him out a lot.

His bedtime is always at 7:30pm and he wake up around 7am to get ready for school. We have been talking to his teacher but she doesn't really help out!

go above the teacher then and try either makinging his new bedtime 7 or when he doesnt listen behave or whatever he goes to bed early 7 instead of 730 if i was crabby i had to go to bed early not really as a punishment but because if i was crabby and doesnt listen i needed more sleep
