Oh yeah pretty much same here. I offered him to sine over his rights and he refused.
I'm pretty sure his mom would disown him forever if he did that. My daughter is the little girl she always wanted but never had because she got my ex insted.
Since I am pretty sure he's just lost all visits due to taking no action, I think that might help long term in the battle to someday get them terminated so my fiance can adopt her when the time is right. but I hear California is one of the harder states to get rights terminated though.

Whenever I hired anyone, we never got info on garnishment orders of any kind. Payroll would get them after. People like him are beyond all comprehension.
Thankfully my ex got very lucky and still has a good job for now. Especially since he just had another baby with a chick who doesn't work so he would be paying a lot for that one too.
My dad was one of those who worked under the table for years to avoid child support. I have no doubt though my ex will turn into that too at some point when it all gets too much for him.
I'm waiting for the time to be right and get him at his most desperate to sign over rights too. But from what I have read, it is hard to do.

My ex is petty. He won't sine over the rights just out of spite. Even if he didn't have the threat of being disowned by his mom hanging over his head.
I think one of the major reasons she still gives him chances is because she wants to be in my daughter's life. I'm hoping she'll figure out that she doesn't need to bring him around to see her. Once she realizes she doesn't need him, maybe she'll throw him under the bus like she has done countless times before.
Can't understand how he can be happy with who and what he is at almost 27 years old.
