TTC after nexplanon?

DH and I are ready to TTC #2, I still have my nexplanon on, but I'm getting it removed next month, for those mamas who've had implanon/nexplanon, how long did it take to get pregnant after getting it removed?

Almost two years

The first time I had sex after getting it removed. The contraceptive implants stop being effective as soon as they are taken out, they're not like the injection, etc. Once it is out it is out so get baby making

Wow, do you know why it took 2 years?
That's what I'm scared of, not being able to conceive this year

Ehh I have no idea I wasnt ttc either just not preventing you know. But I had sex atleast 3 times a week without the pull out method.

I'm really surprised DH said he was ready to TTC #2, so we hope it doesn't take lomg.

You should be fine to conceive asap. I had mine taken out, had a period, had unprotected sex once with DH and was pregnant. You should ask when getting it removed and they will reassure you contraceptive implants stop being effective as soon as they are removed
