Rihanna and Chris Brown back togther

It makes me so sad to learn that this couple is back together. I saw on "the Talk" a statement that Rihanna made about being back with him .She wants the world to know that he changed. She said somthing along the lines of, she loves him and believes this is not a mistake but if it is then she needs to learn it for herself.(my words summing up what she said)

I feel like this is just part of the abuse cycle. The same cycle of abuse that all women who are in love with an abusive man get in. Abuse dose not care if you are rich or poor, black or white, Rihanna or just another girl.

I hope I am wrong and she is right. I hope that he did change, I don't know if men like this change very often but I hope he did. And that we don't have to see Rihanna beat up again in the news or worse see her funeral on the news.

I really dont see why it took them this long to get back together. If its an abuse cycle its on both of them. Its no secret that they were both very abusive toward each other. Why cant we give them both the benefit of the doubt and let them live their lives?

It's been several years, theres a good chance he might HAVE changed. He's had a good oppritunity for personal growth, and he could have easily been in therapy and/or anger management.

I was with a very abusive guy when I was 18 - he was the first guy I dated after my oldest's father and I split up. We split up after 9 months, because of the abuse. I moved on, he really didn't....he hit rock bottom before he started to turn himself around. We were 'introduced' at a party a few years later by a friend we didn't know was a friend of both of ours. We stayed in contact and he's now a dear friend - he learned, he grew. As guys mature, some do change.

this is old news. theyve been back and forth so many times. rhianna has admitted she will always love chris and she understands hes made a mistake.

She's an idiot. I doubt he's changed that much.

It doesn't affect me much. I knew they were going to get back together. I do know he has been recently investigated for assault against Frank Ocean apparently. They both were abusive towards each other. Hopefully they both have changed.
