re: Late February mama's

I am due Feb 20th with baby #5 and feel the same way as you do. I have an appointment tomorrow I'll see if there is any changes, but my Dr. said he may induce me in week 39 because I have been having a lot aches and pains, so uncomfortable i can't sleep   won't know though until the 8th.

Due on the 23 but dr thinks my due date may be off by a week.. He has been measuring a bigger on u/s and fundal height since 20 weeks. I am at a 2-2 1/2 cm dilated and 50% effaced and today she said she could feel his head was right there and she could feel him turning it from side to side when she checked. have been having heavy period type cramping the past 3 days and lots of BH and quite a few real ones but nothing consistent. She thinks i could go at anytime Im hoping he hangs out until at least next week

So far, the inner os is 1cm dilated and 25-30% effaced. That's a big jump from nothing two weeks ago. I was going to go crazy if the contractions I have been having weren't doing anything. I'm exhausted as I know they aren't BH contractions because I have to focus through them. I'm hoping for two more weeks, but things are starting to get rough every afternoon/evening. With my last, I was 6 cm for 31 days. I was absolutely miserable and the contractions I had didn't do anything until they broke my water. I'm counting my blessings on this one.

Just left my 36 week appointment. OB checked my cervix and it's still really high up there so she didn't even check for dilation. Looks like this baby is going to bake a little while longer considering I had my first at 36 weeks.

Its probably good your LO gets to bake a little longer since 36 weeks still runs on the early side however just remember dilation means nothing. You can go from 0-3 cm over night so to speak. I'm kind hoping for an 38 weeker. My husband is away and wont be back till valentine day but if he was here I would want to go in to labor at 37 weeks. Im petrified of having a 9 pounder if I go all the way to 39 weeks.

My 36 weeker was 8 lbs! I can't imagine what how big this one will be! My doctor is going on vacation a few days of the end of my 37 week all the way to the beginning of my 39th week. Figures.. lol

I'm nervous too mamas. Last night I was at the ob er for the flu/high fever. They kept asking me was I sure about my dates because my baby was large. Did I have gd? I hope he doesn't tear me to shreds down there!

I dilated from 0 to 4 in 48 hours. Dalton really means nothing. I was also 6 cm with my third for 31 days. It really means nothing.

I'm 36 weeks and 5 days and baby hasn't dropped. I've made no progress (0cm dilated 0% effaced) and this is my second baby.

Had my 37 week appt today and I made a LITTLE progress. I'm 1/2 cm dilated now, cervix is still high and not effaced. We shall see what we see! I'm holding onto hope for a Valentine's baby!

Hi   I'm Jen, due on the 24th with my 4th child, another girl.
At my appointment last week I wasn't dilated at all. Just normal aches and pains... I had a sono a few days before that and baby girl was given an estimated weight of 8lbs 2oz... we're planning on a 10-11 pound baby. My other kids were also bigger and she's been measuring a few weeks ahead since about 20 weeks so I trust the estimate. Unless I go into labor before hand, my c/s is scheduled for the 20th at 8am. Getting close!

My son was 8lbs 15oz at 39w 2d. My first daughter was 7lbs 11oz at 35w and my second daughter was 8lbs 6oz at 38w 6d.
