Lmao!! At the time it was the best seat out there in our price range. Of course now there's many that are waaay better. We just had to stop harnessing her in it. Thrs why I need to buy the frontier. But while I was hospitalized we obviously didn't use the second car so it didn't matter haha. So that's our next purchase here in a few days. I'm just not ready for her To be belt positioned
<blockquote><b>Quoting L☮J:</b>" <blockquote><b>Quoting Kimber's Mommy:</b>" DD is still a baby baby, lol. she'll be ... [snip!] ... any different. Unless of course there's a safety reason like the other ladies and their kids choking themselves or vomiting."</blockquote>
Funny story... When we Had to turn dd in the Eddie bauer ffing she still rfed in they ride. She asked once if she could face backwards in there too haha. She thought ffing was "backwards"

Now that you mention it, Lilly will still pull her legs up and cross them (she's tiny for a 3 year old) even though she's FFing. I actually have a picture of it. She hasn't complained about her legs falling asleep, but I wonder if that's why she does that still.
<blockquote><b>Quoting Tανη [CNL]:</b>" I got my co-worker to ERF her daughter just by showing her a crash test video. She had been rear-ended ... [snip!] ... fake make-up to "put on" and stuff like that to keep her entertained. Now, she said her daughter doesn't complain or anything."</blockquote>
Apparently the videos did nothing for my coworkers. One ffed at 10 mos cause he was close enough to one and he didn't like rfing and the other one rfed her son at 16 lbs because he was 1 whatever. I do my best to share my info, take it or leave it I suppose. It was irritating cause both were technically illegal.

I know its kind of scary to go from harnessed to booster. But from what I've been reading at 5 or older, as long as the child meets the size requirements of 40lbs or more and can sit properly, its perfectly fine for em to be in a HBb.
<blockquote><b>Quoting L☮J:</b>" <blockquote><b>Quoting Household 6:</b>" Did you use the locking clip?"</blockquote> ... [snip!] ... the seatbelt wasn't locking properly. You might want to still check that because that has nothing to do with the seat being RF."</blockquote>
Yup, it's happened to dd ffing before. The seat belt got loose somehow. I felt awful she thought it was hillarious though.

Probably is. Dd puts hers on the seat or the middle console all the time. Eta: she actually broke the little heat/ac vents by putting her feet up on them

That just irritates me so much. Your 10 month old CANNOT communicate that they dislike RFing. And a 16lb baby?!?!? Might as well let him sit in the front seat. Such ignorance. My aunt let my cousin sit in the front seat (with airbag) when he hit 5. I was like...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!? And he was in a booster (with seat belt, not harness) by that age. Ugh! When he was with me, he sat in a booster, in the back seat until he hit 9 and fit the seat belt properly without a booster.
<blockquote><b>Quoting BetterOffSingle!:</b>" where have i seen those kids before???? It wasn't on here! but yes my almost 4 year old is still RF, my oldest was until just after 3 when he his 45lbs!"</blockquote>

Most of my preschoolers are riding in regular booster seats even itty bitty petite ones. I'm pretty sure lylian is the only one in her Kindergarten class who's harnessed cause I get weird looks infield trip day when I take her seat in (patents drive the kids and ie always had to work so far). She's possibly even the only one or one of the few on iv backs.
My oldest was 13 months, I really didn't know better & the info wasn't out there 10 years ago. My middle was 3.5 when I turned him and my baby will RF as long as possible. We'll be getting her a Radian with taxes.
