Mini pill while breastfeeding?

Did you like it? Any side effects?

I'm honestly thinking about just not even taking it... I'm afraid it will mess me up!

It shouldn't have any effect on your milk supply, if that's what your worried about, because there's no estrogen in it. You have to be really good about taking it at the exact same time every day, though - even more so than the regular pill.

I'm getting Mirena put in so I don't have to worry about that, lol.

I was on it for 2 1/2 months before I stopped. It messed with my supply as well as made me a hormonal mess worse than before I started on it. I know that isn't the typical reaction but that was my experience. I stopped taking it and have been so much better, we just use condoms now which we both hate but with no regular period I can't do NFP to avoid pregnancy.

I was worried about my supply lol! I asked the doc but since she said " It probably won't" I'm worried! LO is going through a growth spurt and it's hard enough to keep up as is..

Yup. I didn't think so but I saw my midwife yesterday and she said Mirena (and Implanon) both are progestin-only, and only release small amounts of hormones.
