Blood test?

I'm about 10 dpo (I'm pretty sure I ovulated on or around 21st), we baby danced the 21st. I took a hpt this morning, negative. Is it still too early for an hpt? Would a blood test pick up if I'm pregnant or not?

Yes it's still too early. It takes 5-10 for implantation and another 3 for Otto start producing enough HCG for a good HPT to pick up. There's still hope!! I'm 8dpiui today. Baby dust!!!!!
