Doctor appointment.

I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow.. and I had my 38 week checkup today.
I'm now dilated to 2-3cm.
The doctor is hoping she comes on her own, he is thinking she will be a big baby.
Ever since my appointment I've been having bad back ache.

Is this normal?
I've never had this pain after being checked.

It seemed like every week I got checked the after pains increased (I also dilated a cm per week) That is normal & could be a good sign.  

I'm 38 weeks and 3 days, and I had my doctor's appointment today. When he checked I was only 1-2 cm. It always kind of hurts after he checks. I get crampy for a hour or so after.

I've been checked every week since 33 weeks and I've never had this pain before.

You may be getting softer?
