When did you stop working?

posted 30th Jan
I work full time, monday through friday from 8:30 - 5:30.. It's a nice office job but it definitely takes a toll on me.. Especially since DH leaves for work at 5am, I'm the one getting DD ready for daycare every morning, so on and so forth.

I originally had every intention of working until I went into labor.. or my Dr ordered otherwise.. but these past two days I've stayed home due to my daughter being sick and it's seriously kind of... nice. Not her being sick of course, but the staying home part.

I almost feel like putting in my two (or three) weeks notice when I get to work, but I'm not due until March 20th.

I haven't worked there for a full year so they can't hold my position anyway.. but it's with military housing so I have priority over others when re-applying after the baby is born, and there are several offices on base.

...... I'm just torn.

29 weeks or so but only because we had to move an hour away.

I wouldn't stop working until you actually need to, but that's JMO.

I was due in march and quit working early dec because I had an hr drive 1 way (good conditions no traffic) and dealt with awful people at work and my boss didn't know how to be a boss so I was so stressed all the time. I didn't have another kid but I took care of the house and stuff.

That would make me nervous. I know I could very well go late this pregnancy but my water broke at 38 weeks with DD .. lol

If you can afford it, I don't see why not.

Wtbs, with my son I literally worked until I had my C-sec. He was an emergency C-sec and I called my boss while I was waiting for anesthesia and told her I was having the baby.

With my daughter, she was born at 35wks (also Emergency Csec). I was admitted to the hospital on Wed, my doctor put me on bedrest Thursday and I called my boss to let her know I wouldn't be back until after the baby came, and they had to take her on Friday.

Yikes. I'm not on my feet all day long but I do get up a billion times a day to greet people, grab keys, file, etc.. it still makes me winded at times.
