I loved my job, so I didn't mind working till the end.   just go until you feel like its a good time to stop.

I'm getting paid everyday to sit and watch tv haha, only reason I took off, never used a years worth of vacation time or sick time or personal days so I had so much accrued!

I'm on my feet all day at work and have to deal with the public so it takes a toll on me. I have a feeling I will be VERY bored though, and I'm not 100% sure I can get on unemployment yet (YAY for Canada!)..... so I have to figure everything out first. I don't want to be SOL for money

My job is VERY stressful. We walk a smurf ton, and it's very mentally draining. I'm so glad I took leave early.

I could've taken it at 23 weeks but I knew that was waaaaaaaaay too early

I cut my hours down to only about 15 a week about a week ago, so 37 weeks. But my official last day is next Thursday, 39w5d

As long as you have a doctor's note, you will qualify for Short Term Disability Leave, which will lead into your 52 weeks of Maternity Leave.

My Dr said he'd provide me with a Dr's note! Thank God lol..... I was told I can go on S&A I believe it is... SNA.... something along those lines lol, by service Canada

I believe you can get up to 12 weeks Short Term Disability prior to your 1 year of maternity.

32 weeks when hospitalized with pre-e. if i didnt have her 11 days ago id still be working

I work retail and the hours were badly cut so I stopped last week, as low lady on the totem pole I wasn't getting many hours anyway. They're holding my job until I can come back though, so yay for that. I'm going to be so bored though, I don't deal with with not working. Plus, DH just picked up a second job so he's not going to be around much.
