Same here and lining things up and what not can also go along with autism. NOT saying it is that but that is why I asked about other behavioral patterns.

What are his speech issues?

Does he have to have a rroutine or anything or his day is ruined?

Cabinets can't be open, can't leave like a shampoo bottle in the tub if it falls off the side, his toys can't be out of order at all, his food placed a certain way, just odds and ends.

Yeah, things can not be different. If in the morning i have to bathe his sister due to an accident before they eat breakfast, that is not okay. Or if i take the dogs out before i get him up and he doesn't get to see them go out, i have to take them out again because he;s used to them being out at a certain time.

He didn't like to communicate for a long time, he'd rather had pointed at things instead of speaking and telling me what he wanted.

Everything having it's own place and him getting upset if you change it.. My first guess would be autism not ocd.. Either way I would bring it up to Dr. It can't hurt to be concerned.

I'm defiantly going to have him checked out, my main concern is him driving him insane with this. He doesn't enjoy his day like he should because he's too concerned about where things belong or things are supposed to be.

Not to freak you out but you are describing classic symptoms of Autism. I work with kids with Autism for a living and this like a lot of my patients. Go to http://www.autismspeaks.org/what-autism/learn-signs and see what you think. the fact that he is advancing with therapy is great.

I would mention it to his pedi because it could be OCD or even Autism....high functioning most likely. Never hurts to let them know you are concerned.

Fine, he doesn't like dirt to touch him but as for like somebody to walk up and touch him? Fine, normal. He likes loud noises, besides storms, they terrify him.

Oh ok...was asking because a lot of Autistic children have issues with things like that but not all of course.
