vaccinations (repost)

sorry for the repost but i didnt get the response i was looking for
I am taking my 3 year old daughter for hers the afternoon, how do i prepare her and i cant just tell her the truth that she is going for an injection as she doesnt know what one is, this is her first one that she is old enough to be aware of

what do you ladies do?

Are you delaying shots? My lo didn't have any at his three year check up

My 3 year old sees me give myself shots every day, so not only is she familiar with shots, she's not scared of them either. I guess I'm lucky in that aspect. Just tell her she's getting some medicine.

nope, everyone gets them at 3 here as well as the ones the get in the first year

ok i told her and she just said "but mummy, it's naughty to pinch", so i said it was a magic pinch that will stop her getting poorly
