Daily Fitness Challenge 1/30

Good morning ladies!
It is my leg day so lets do 30 squats!


I also thought I would include my weekly workout schedule for those who have been asking for it.

This is what I follow.

Monday: 1 hour cardio/Upper body
Tuesday: 2 hours cardio
Wednesday: 1 hour cardio/Lower body
Thursday: 2 hours cardio
Friday: 1 hour cardio/Upper Body
Saturday: 2 hours cardio
Sunday: Off day

I do not usually take an off day and just do 1 hour or more of cardio.

The following week would start with Monday Lower body and would rotate accordingly.
This is a chart online but I could not find it. I wrote it all down and have it on my fridge.

Just examples of what kind of exercises are for upper body cardio and lower body cardio. I really do not know much when it comes to working out. Though I just did the 30 squats and it about killed me if that tells you how out of shape I am.

Well upper body cardio would consist of things like rapid punches.
Lower body would be more walking, running, jogging.

What type of cardio do you do? Are you doing 2 hours straight of one thing (running, for example) or do you switch it up during those 2hrs?

Challenge accepted ;) I did a total body conditioning class at the gym last night and im still a little sore, but this will get me warmed up for my express cycle and circuit classed tonight. Woohoo. Lol!

Well right now I am training for my first 5k so I do 30 minutes or more on the treadmill and do intervals of walking to running and the rest of the time I'm on the elliptical. I am not a fan of the bike so much because it makes my tail bone hurt.

Before I went back to the gym I pretty much walked all the time.

Now if you are talking about my schedule, that's cardio and THEN upper or lower body weight training.

I am not really into the whole weight training thing. It's mainly my thighs that need toning. I swear I am one of those people who are small from the waist up, and meant to explode from the hips down.

I'm doing the 30DS right now (day 21!) but I'm looking to do more. I have a treadmill at home, but no good running shoes yet.

I PTed you, I hope you don't mind. I've lost 8lbs and 7.5 inches so far. I need some fitness friends to keep me on track!

Well cardio burns fat but muscle training also burns fat when you're not working out and helps tone.
