but I probably shouldnt use a tampon while pregnatn? I read that i can use tea tree oil too soaked in a tampon, and put garlic cloves up there but, idk, im all for natural, but i dont want to smell like vaginal garlic goo

Hmm i didnt think of that. I cant imagine it being any worse than a dick or fingers. Personally i would just put a couple cloves of garlic up there.

Hey! I know your pain. Pregnant women are VERY prone to infections because of the hormonal imbalance. I have had 4 so far and I'm due March 20th. Most of mine were the "normal" yeast infections. The discharge, smell, itch, etc. This past one though, I had nothing but itch. It was the WORST one I've had yet. You can try the home remedies but I know from experience, depending on how bad they are, they DON'T WORK!!!!! Call your doctor and let them know about what you are experiencing and see if they can squeeze you in. My Dr gave me a RX Vaginal cream that works wonders!!!! The reason I tell you to call is because depending on how long you've had it, had bad it is, it can actually put you in PRETERM LABOR. (All coming from my DR.) Good Luck!

Just go to your doctors.. They will give you a one time pill and it will go away. I wouldn't trust anything unless advised by your doctor because even the oil says it can be harmful to a baby if under 3 months pregnant. So please just go see your doctor. You don't want to risk hurting your baby.

It could possibly be Bacterial Vaginosis...I had it in my 1st trimester than again in my 3rd trimester ...Just finished the antibiotic last week...an exam has to be done to determine it. In the first trimester I had no symptoms other than a bread smell and they did an exam & it was confirmed to be BV. In my 3rd trimester I had no bread smell or other symptoms other than the itching in the clit area. 1st trimester they gave me a cream & 3rd trimester they gave me an oral antibiotic.

BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) is a bacterial infection in the vagina...its where there is less good bacteria and more bad bacteria and the bad bacteria overpower & take over the good bacteria. You might want to get it check out if it keeps coming back it may not be a yeast infection but BV

1) NOTHING is supposed to be in your vagina while pregnant, 2) OB's specifically state NO ya moons while pregnant or post partum because it introduces bacteria

THIS! I have issues with vaginal pH which causes back and forth battles with BV and yeast. Generally they like to culture your vag to make sure which they are treating so it doesn't make the problem worse. I'd do the cornstarch thing to minimize itch until you see your dr. That way you don't exacerbate the problem.

no but the nurse called me and told me monistat.. she said not the suppostories just the paste i guess and you squirt it up there? im going to the store late after the baby i watch gets picked up and she said its 7 days but i might have to use it for 2 weeks and that i may have spotting from it.

hopefully it helps.. i mean do i need it IN my vag if its only my clit itching? could i just use some cream on the area?

Damn auto correct. Only prob with doing this on my phone.

I'd start with the crime outside and see if that resolves it, if not put it in and see if that helps.

And if its not better they prob will culture you

Ya moons lmao

Wait, didnt you just say not to put anything in the vagina while pregnant? I hope you aren't having sex. A lot of OB's warn against that too.
