Increased cycle length

posted 30th Jan
Hi all,

My cycle has gone from 28 days to now on average about 35 days.
It's anywhere between 27 and 41 days and its starting to freak me out.

If your cycle has ever suddenly increased in length, was there a reason?
Just wondering if I should go to the doctors.

Thanks,

Hmm how is pcos normally diagnosed?
I have put on hmm maybe about 10lbs past my heaviest ever weight..
But then I'm working on losing it and have lost of those lbs.. But I feel like I'm losing weight reallllly slowly compared to previous times..

there is no test for PCOS
but elevated hormones help a diagnosis
also a common symptom with PCOS is weight gain
and its hard to lose the weight!! i am struggling big time.

but weight gain alone will also cause irregularity

Hmm im even taking a weightless drug , workin out and not eating that much and I've only lost those 8lbs.
I will ask the doctor next time I see her and hopefully she'll at least do a blood test.
