Agreed. I am thankful that my pedi told me that babies don't need that crap and so on. Not that I would have done it anyway because the twins were EBF but, I can't lie, I toyed with the idea of FF my son. I so desperately wanted my body to be mine. lol I was either pregnant or nursing forever! I stopped nursing when the girls were 14 months old. Promptly got pregnant. Had a m/c then got pregnant again. They were 25 months old when he was born. I did nurse him. He self weaned at 11 months. Mostly because I was in and out of the hospital longer than I should have been for what was supposed to be a simple proceedure. Still, i have an amazing pedi who is open and not afraid to research anything to give me the best answer or options.

You're a machine ebf twins lol. Seriously. I struggled to keep up with just one baby! She nursed probably a good 16hours out of the day, at least. I did that for 4months before giving up. I couldn't cope with the lack of sleep.

Ya ours isn't iron fortified, but I still think it does taste gross! In some cases they do need the extra iron, such as preemies. But we used the iron drops when I EBF in the earlier months and then gave up on the extra iron when the girls would just spit it all out!

I don't think I would have been able to if I wasn't a SAHM and if I wasn't afraid of the cost of formula. Lol The first few months were pure hell but then it got better. It was a routine at that point.
