sounds like OCD.
have you always had 'em? or some form of them? (just varying thoughts)
like- are you actively trying to push 'em outta your head with reason but your mind just won't let you?
i have this issue.

they say if you try not to think about something you will think about it more.

the key is to let the thought pass through your mind and look at it recognize it and then let it go...

This. Definitely sounds like OCD. I have a good friend who does exactly what you're describing. Medicine has helped her SO much.

i've had therapy for it but never medicated.
mine's bad though.

over the years i've been able to make it go from all day/night thinking about it, to only having trigger places.

like right now, the bathroom, and getting outta the car. which sucks-- being pregnant, peeing all the time with kids to drive places haha
(they aren't related to these tasks, it's just kinda how it ended up)

And though it keeps me in the bathroom like, 5 minutes instead of 30 seconds.
it's a fair trade for thinking about it constantly.

My friend has it bad too. She's never told me what the thoughts were because she's so terrified of them. She's says they're just so out there and ridiculous but they scare her so bad. You'd never know it if she didn't tell you though since she's been on the meds. I'm not quite sure what she takes though.

mine aren't even "scary". just disturbing/unwanted.

i wonder what it is. i considered it for a bit, but like, i don't even take tylenol 'n such hahah.
plus, i've always been kinda scared about what life with out 'em would be like, as odd as that sounds.

i'm glad your friend found a way to get her brain back!

You should try to contact a dr.
I've never dealt with it personally, but I know it must be hard to live with just by the way my friend gets when she tries to explain it to me.

That last sentence gave me chills. It's so upsetting when she talks to me about it because I can see how scared/disturbed it makes her feel. Like she's lost control of her brain.
