is it just a bad thought brought on by something you can't shake or...are you feeling mentally incapable of getting past it?
this probably isn't making sense. i don't really know how to describe what i'm meaning.

like- the part i hate the most about my OCD thoughts is i literally can't make myself go on with a task til i rationalize through the thoughts- and it scares the hell outta me as to what i'd do if for some reason i needed to act fast while caught in a thought.

oh definitely! what i get angry about is the time i lose cos of it. or like, the things i would think about if i wasn't wasting space on it. but it's really just an all-consuming type thing   like, if it's bad enough, it makes it so you can literally never just be "in a moment".

Are you completely against meds?
I don't even keep Tylenol in the house so I feel you there. But if this is really affecting day to day activities, you may really benefit. Is your therapist helping at all?

not completely.
my doc wanted to prescribe me something after i had my daughter 2.5 years ago, but then i ended up BFing so that didn't happen.


I was seeing a therapist for CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to try to work through it that way, but it's mentally exhausting and i was going through custody stuff then so it got to be too much.

Soooo now i'm waiting til after i have baby three to take care of it!
