Trust Issues ?

Okay So I Have Been On My Own *Single* Since I was 6 Months Pregnant When I Moved Away From My Sons Father. My Son Is Now 4 Months Old...His Father Was Abusive When We Were Together. He Has Never Met His Son Or bought Him Anything. I Am Now Moving Back To The Same Town Where My Sons Father Lives Should I Let Them Meet? Im Not Sure If i Trust Him..

Maybe supervised visitations? Hard to know how a man will act towards their own children when they are abusive to their girlfriends.

Well i Told Him That He Could Come Over And See His Son. But No Taking Him Anywhere Unless Im There..At Least Till I Know I Can Trust Him. But He Got Upset. And I Know If it Was Up To My Family There Would Be No Relationship Between My Son And His Father. So Im Not Sure What To Do..

Let him be upset! How old is your son? If he is really young even a court might have it so he can visit him only when you are there to help. Either way, unless he takes you to court you are in control so don't let that go since you can't trust him!

Well if you do that DON'T let him come over when it is just you and your son!! Just because you are not currently dating does NOT mean he won't be abusive to you now. So make sure you have a friend or family member over when he comes over to visit

Wow that is ridiculous!!! Yeah, it's his son and honestly if he wants to see him that bad he will take you to court. Until then if you want him involved do supervised visits in a public place or with a friend around.
