For military wives...ugh I didn't want to even ask

Didn't really want to post about this, but it's eating away at me   If you have been through a deployment, tell me how you would feel about this. If the last time you talked to your husband was 5 days ago, and he got offline because he was mad at you, would you think the reason he hasn't contacted you since is because he is still mad?

He might not have had an opportunity to talk to you.

No, when my husband was gone we went through this once. He felt horrible for leaving things that way because we couldn't talk for days after.

Umm, I would assume he's still mad.

Yes it would be in the back of my mind but I would also try to factor in everything else since communication can be limited for so many other reasons.


This is our 4th deployment. Stuff happens, things get misunderstood and lost in translation, you cant read emotion over text either so its very hard sometimes. I understand. I'm sorry you're feeling low.

He is probably just trying to cool off. Or he doesn't want to fight or something. I know when DH was deployed, anytime we got a little mad at each other he wouldn't get on as much until he calmed down cause he didn't want to fight a lot while he was there.

And, he may be extra tired from missions and stuff. A lot of things happen over there that make it hard for them to contact family. I would just email him and tell him you love him and that when he is ready to talk again, you will be there.

Yes, but I talk to my husband everyday of his deployments unless there are comm blackouts. Other than that, I hear from him--I'm spoiled!

men are big kids... but it depends where he deployed.. my hubby in some places only called 15 mins once every 2 weeks. but if he mad I'm sure he will calm eventually... then u can get mad for him talkin so long to get over it lol.

he isn't on missions, he is almost home, well VERY soon. But the other stuff makes sense
