Could they be old? His cousin's from a year+ ago?

Do you have any other reasons to suspect he's cheating?

Yeah he brought his mom into it.
At this point I hate his guts.

I would assume it was old. I'm pretty sure we bought some condoms while we were dating and they're probably stuck in a drawer in our storage unit in VA right now. They'll probably make another appearance one day and I won't think anything of it.

Now if I found a bag with an open box of condoms and a receipt that says they were bought the same day my husband arrived in Vegas I'm going to think that's odd but I wouldn't automatically assume he had done anything. There's always ways to explain even the most crazy things... I trust my husband so my mind doesn't automatically jump to, "Oh, he's cheating." If he had ever cheated on me or proved himself untrustworthy in any way I would probably feel differently.

Check the expiration date. That can give you a clue as to how old it is.

Eh, there are plenty of harmless reasons this could have happened. Why would a guy keep condoms he plans on using with another woman in the house he shares with his girlfriend/wife? I'm sure they probably belong to the cousin or something. Unless OP found them in the jeans he wore out to a bar last Friday I wouldn't automatically think there's anything shady about it (and even then there could be an explanation as simple as someone at the bar was handing out condoms... I've seen it happen and ended up with a condom in my purse, lol. If my husband yelled at me for that I would be like, "Are you crazy?").

Expiration dates mean little though. I imagine condoms last a while. What you really need is the date they were bought. I imagine there's not a receipt with them though, lol.

Like I said, there could be a million excuses. Don't assume he's cheating unless you have solid evidence. That's not fair. Imagine if he found a guy's watch in your drawer and it really just belonged to your best friend's boyfriend who had left it at your house the last time they were over? Wouldn't it upset you if you got accused of having a boyfriend on the side just because of that? Just think about being in his shoes too.


It always pays to be vigilant but don't go overboard.

Where in the room did you find it.? Is it somewhere you would have seen it if it was there for a while.?
