how long did it take you to get your rainbow baby?

posted 29th Jan
How long after your loss did it take you to get your rainbow baby? SO and I had decided to wait until summer to start TTC again but lately I have been thinking about wanting to try sooner but the thought of another loss makes me hold back   Was it harder for you to conceive your rainbow baby? easier? Did you do anything differently?

Why specifically a "rainbow baby"...

Are babies from parents of the same race any different ?

A rainbow baby is a baby conceived after a miscarriage

Hahaha. I've never heard rainbow baby either, but from the context of this post I gathered it means a baby born after a miscarriage? Lol I love your idea of what it means lol. Uh, what does it mean, OP?

So, I was right. Sorry for your loss. I wish I had some advice but I know there are plenty of women on here that will. Good luck.

Lol I don't think you know what "rainbow baby" means.

I have not experienced a loss but all the people I know who have had miscarriages ave conceived their rainbow baby within 6 months of their loss. Good luck to you!

I had my surgery to removed the miscarriage in August of 2008. I wasn't TTC but found out I conceived on Thanksgiving... so November of 2008.

I don't think my new birth control had taken effect yet at the time, which is why it happened so soon.

I had 4 mc last year one in my second trimester. I waited one period and conceived again the one after (so second period post mc).

At the moment I'm due August 19. I did however miscarry due to Hughes syndrome. This time I am on medication to think my blood and feeling much better.

Thank you. That gives me hope. I hope I can bring a healthy LO home soon. And yes I meant a child conceived after a loss as a rainbow baby
