Drawing on Self

Stupid question, lol

My son (almost 2) took the pen he was using to draw with and drew all over his leg while I was cooking dinner. I wiped it off, but he drew really hard. There are scratches where the pen lines were. Not deep enough to draw blood, but hard enough to leave ugly red marks.

That's okay, right? lol. My mom used to tell me we'd get ink poisoning from drawing on our skin, but I figured she was just lying,.

It's fine.

I use to write on myself allll the time...like on my hands and what not when I was bored in high school and I am ok!

You can't get ink poisoning from it.

DD draws over herself ALL the time. (But so does mommy lol)
