Boy was I wrong!

What are some "facts" that you used to think were true, but now you realize you were dead wrong?

For example: I used to go around in high school telling people that if you had 3 miscarriages your body would not be able to ever carry a baby. You'd be infertile. I honestly believed that. I have no idea why, but I did.

If you kill a spider, it's spider family with come in full force to murder you in revenge of it's fallen brethren.

I still don't kill spiders. I'm not gonna risk it.

My mother once told me that if I ever got my boobs squeezed by a guy I would get breast cancer...

I remember being petrified the first time I ever got felt up haha. She told me so many outlandish things that I can't imagine why /I ever believed.

I had a friend tell me once that if I slept in a bra with underwire in it that I would get breast cancer
