Coming home outfit...

posted 29th Jan
I'm not due until June, just bored and curious. What would be an ideal coming home outfit (for a boy) if our baby will be born in late June in Florida? When I search "coming home outfit" all the pictures show the babies wearing long sleeves, or sleep n' play type sets.

I'd do a one piece short sleeved outfit. I stay clear from pants since they can rub on the cord ( happend with my first she was bleeding by the time we got her home and changed her) old navy has some cute ones. Other then that a onsie and a light blanket might work.

DS was in a short sleeved onesie and thin pants. He was born the beginning of August. With the a/c in the car, it was a bit cool so he had a thin blanket on his carseat as well.

This one's due in mid-May and we're going to bring a few options, partially b/c we have no clue what size he'll wear, partially b/c we don't know (right now) what to expect for weather.

For all of my kids, we pretty much just picked out our favorite outfits for them to wear home

you're welcome

you can always bring a few outfits along and decide "day of".

DS2 will likely go home in the same outfit DS1 came home in, unless I can find something before May that I like better. DS1 came home in a white onesie with blue writing that said "thank heaven for little boys" with matching pants. came from Target but they don't sell it anymore

Sounds adorable! I LOVE target! I recently bought winter clothes from there for next winter. They were all on sale so I bought the size to fit him around then. I found the cuteset onesie with a collar like a polo shirt from Old Navy.. Is that too much? Do you think the collar would bother him?
