Sexting, Do Ya?

posted 29th Jan
We've been together over four years.
We text each other more than any one else. And it's not the typical hunny do's of reminder texts.

We don't really spend much time away from each other- we are both homebodies, but we still communicate on the downlow (what with all of our kids) via text extremely frequently.

We are a couple who likes to sext.

We send each other naughty pictures and talk dirty- we do these exchanges (not always with photos) a few times a day. (We use iCloud to save our collection of sexts under password protect, and delete from our phone in case our kids ((our son)) nabs a phone)

I'm just curious how many other couples who are long past the honeymoon phase still have that spark. Curious what ways you ignite that spark from day to day.

We are going strong and have not lost a bit of passion for each other. It sounds like most people lose it pretty quickly, so it might be nice for all of us to hear how others keep sparks flying.

Next week it will have been 7 yrs since we got together, married for almost 2, and We are always sending each other nice texts, yes i do send him the occasional honey-do or complaint that he didn't do something, but I try to keep those to a minimum. And I make it a rule to tell him several times a day how much I love him. I also put cute notes in his lunchbox or leave a note on his clothes for work... He really likes it

We've been together for almost 5 years and we we're always very sexual and what not.
But since I've had a Baby, gained weight, gotten stretch marks, ect.
I feel like he wouldn't want naked pictures of me anymore.
Soo, I guess we have sort of lost the 'spark'

We've been together almost 11 years, and I fail to see why we shouldn't keep the spark alive. It isn't something we do on a super consistent basis, but I've sent him little pictures before. He's my husband, so...why not?

I read a study that said the "butterflies" tend to fade after year #2...so, I'd say you're still in the homey moon stage

No, because I seriously suck at sexting

I do send photos though. Just not dirty-talking.

My husband is a prude lol. He's in the military and he's always sooo afraid someone is going to see something or read it, because they pick up people's phones and go through them while people aren't looking. I use to love sexting and sending nudes. Hopefully someday we can pick that back up again. I miss it!

We love to sext and just text lol when he's gone for the day I feel like a giddy school girl once he walks through the door. Were very affectionate we've even been told that it seemed like we were newly weds   we have a very active sex life and have sex pretty much everyday (when I'm not knocked up hehe)

We've been together 7 years, married 3 with 3 kids and 1 on the way

You're still in the honeymoon stage.

DH and i have been together 9 years married 6. I still send him naughty texts and do random things he's not expecting like BJ's, Lap dances etc. I sent a couple of photos but that had to stop because his co-workers are nosey as smurf

We touch a lot. And at almost 3yr together are finally getting over the power struggle stage and dropping a fight when it won't go anywhere. I try to hug him everyday spontaneously. We have two kids together btw. And so we cuddle as a family and play on the floor together and wrestle. I think that helps keep it alive more than anything. We have always been very playful.

I think for us the butterflies stop about year 4, it was only random times then. But recently DH brought them back.
