Mystery Virus

My daughter had a sudden high fever (not super high but 102.3 ) and a bad headache yesterday. She fell asleep at 2pm which is completely out of the ordinary and was lethargic for hours. I gave her advil which did absolutely nothing for her headache or fever. Then I gave her tylenol and a few hours later her fever and headache subsided.

At night her headache came back but the fever only got to 99.1 . i gave her meds as insurance overnight and she did great.

This morning, no headache but fever went back up to 100.3
She looks pale but is playing. No other symptoms.
WTH?

Also, her flu test came back negative.

**edit: i also do not think it is a UTI

anybody?? lol...

just curious if this sounds normal!!!

there are a ton of viruses going around. i'd say as long as she doesn't have a high fever that won't go down, don't worry too much.

now add vomiting to the list. and she has never vomited in her life.
and the bad headache keeps coming back.

My daughter went through this too. Fever on and off for two days, vomitting, diarheea, and headaches. Just a virus. ;/
