how many outfits/day for a newborn?

i honestly cannot recall, how many outfits we used, between spit up, explosive diapers, and what not...im trying to estimate how many onesies, pants, sleepers, ect i will need.

Usually just 2. But I had a ton of white bibs that i could just bleach.

We had about 15 onesies, 3 sleepers and we never ran low. Anymore and i would of lost them lol.

Its hot here so DS only gets dressed when we leave the house.... So some days none lol.

Maybe I'm excessive but I had over 30 onesies, and about 15+ sleepers.... I didn't want to have to have them get all stained because we were using the same ones so much. I wanted to be able to reuse them instead if just tossing them.....

i plan on doing laundry every 2-3days...or as needed.

i know rilan, he only wears maybe 15 of his 45 shirts! he has hoodies, and sweaters he will wear over them, but i just dont want to over-buy, and them not be used!

She didn't have too many blow outs until she was about 3 months and by then i'd upped the onesies a little and she had about 5+ sleepers. The only stains she'd get was on the leg part(it was the diapers we were using that caused it) of the onesie and it wasn't noticeable. The sleepers she got once she was 3 months she wore the toe part out lol. If she'd have a blow out it'd go straight to water so i could rinse it and then in the washer and i haven't had a problem with stains. I guess i didn't want to buy a ton of stuff and her not end up wearing a lot of it so i kinda buy as we go.

Yeah, DS actually never had a blow out. His first one was just this week and it was cause he didn't feel well. It was more formula that would stain everything. It seemed like no matter how fast I changed him and washed it, it would still have a yellow coloring in the spots where he spit up or drooled it out :/.

i usually use 1 sleeper at night and go through about 3 outfits during the day but i also have tons of bibs cause you never know

Yeah once DD started having blowouts i hated it lol. She's ruined a few of my favorite pants and onesies. That damn yellow stain is a bitch to get out.
