So proud of myself!

Okay since I cant find the breastfeeding forum Ill post it here.
Yesterday was the last day of breastfeeding for me. I tried my hardest to keep going with trying everything that I found. And after about 2 weeks ago, I got really depressed and so down that nothing was helping get my milk production back up after 2 almost 3 bouts with mastitis. Everything I tried it kept lowering and lowering and I finally decided that my health is going to be better if I call it quits and formula feed my son. I made it 3months, which is half of what I wanted, but its 3 months longer than some women can. My son got the best milk from the beginning and to me that is all that matters.

That's great. Good for you for trying your hardest! Your baby needs a happy mother too!

That's what finally told me I should quit. Is people kept saying a happy mama makes for a happy baby.
