neg tests & no AF but AF/PG SYMTOMS arrrggghhh

Well I stopped BC on 28th Dec 2012. Had withdrawel bleed (can't honestly remember what day or how long for). OH came back & on 18th, 19th & 20th we had 'us' time   ive had tender, swollen breasts pretty much since then (that I can remember).

It is now 29.01.12 so 32 days since stopping BC. Prior to birth control I was regular. Infact I have fallen pg twice whilst taking BC, so assume I would ovulate quite quickly once stopping it. I have been taking HPT's but so far all negative.

So I have a few theories...
The breast tenderness could just be PMS symptoms...but so far that would make it around 9 days (usually breast tenderness lasts for max 2 weeks prior to period)
This makes me think that I could have ovulated around the time we had sex.
Therefore a there is a good chance either way I could be PG or simply get AF.
However I usually get really bad period pains before AF and had not experienced this as all, which is strange as I do get a lot of pelvic pain regardless even when taking BC which usually eases symptoms. I am not one to go on symptoms though as they can be related to menses or pregnancy.

besides waiting, is there anything I can do to help bring on AF (if that is what is about to turn up)?

Sex usually helps get AF going.

I would suggest Dong Quai. I use it to bring on my periods when they are late, it helps regulate. BUT if you think you might be pregnant, I wouldn't use it. Because some women use it to cause miscarriages/abortion.

My OH works away and I am only going to see him for a little while on Saturday, but I will make sure we spend the time together we have wisely...presuming 'self help' will basically be the same? I've heard excercise also helps, so have been running around my house all day cleaning.

Self help won't be as effective, but definitely won't hurt  

still hasn't turned up..grrrrrr
