Comfortable walking shoes?

posted 29th Jan
Posting this here, hoping to get a better response than in free for all...

Need some suggestions! I have an old pair of Nike Shox that I bought on Ebay 8-9 years ago that were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever owned (and I only paid $25 for them!). They are all worn out now, and my DH tried to buy me another pair for Christmas, but they were more slim and too breathable (brr!) and not nearly as comfortable. I am just looking for an everyday walking shoe, I don't need super athletic. I don't like the mesh shoes they are making now, it's too cold here to wear them out.

What are the comfortable models out there now? TIA!

Asics....all the way. I will never buy another brand EVER. I got my mom and sister into them too. I use them for running long distance, my mom uses them for walking 5 days a week, and my sister uses them to go to the gym.

No they make different models for different activities. Just go to a sporting goods store and try some on. I'm pregnant, so I haven't been running in months and my shoes are like a yr old probably. Idk what the newer models are.
