I'm not ready :(

I totally thought I was. But I want her to stay in forever! I don't know what I'm going to do with her on the outside I'll feel so empty. I've started getting slight cramps, that over the last week have become more frequent and painful. And I know it could still be a week or two, at the same time. It's hitting me that's she's going to be on the outside soon. And I'm going to be empty... And I wont be able to have her with me every second... Has anyone else felt this way or am I just crazy clingy?

It's completely normal. I felt the same with all of mine, but look at it like this..Once she is out, no more hearthburn, no more body aches, no more peeing every 5 minutes, and you can hug her,kiss her, and cuddle her all you want!

So true. Like right after I posted this I had another contraction. Haven't since this morning. I started contracting last night. Now it's really becoming real. Lol and I don't know what to do.  ! I do want to hug her and cuddle her, and at least I can see her, instead of waking up every morning wondering if she's alright. That's morbid but true.

It's normal to feel that way.

But..Don't you want to meet her? Hold her, hug her, love her, and watch her? I would rather cuddle my son on the outside than have him kicking me from the inside. Enjoy your last few weeks and enjoy your first few weeks with your new baby! They're precious.

I'm excited but it's a mixed feeling. More so protective. Lol I'm scared. And then I'm going to feel so empty at the same time, you're right I cannot wait! To hold her, and love her!

You'll be so amazed and pre-ocupied with her when she's in you're arms that you won't feel empty.

Just that pre-baby actually being here feel.

I loved being pregnant with my boys and probably will with my girl once she gets bigger and starts to move more but it was nice to be able to have my body back felt so much lighter lol

That part... I kind of am excited about my ribs have hurt since 20+ weeks.

We feel if we can keep them in there we can protect them from the world but they gotta come out sometime and yeah i'm not looking forward to getting rib pain when she moves up :/ was hell with my other pregnancies lol

aww i know what u mean. but if ur worried get an angelcare movement baby monitor. It put my mind at so much ease.

Right? It sucks.

And I'll be sharing a room until she's old enough to where SIDS isn't a factor. But I have invested in some really nice baby monitors anyway :3

I remember this feeling!

I was so afraid I was going to feel empty. I loved just laying on the couch in a quiet living room , with my hand on my belly feeling him move. It was one of my all time favorite feelings.

Surprisingly though, I didn't feel empty after he was born. I barely noticed. You're so caught up in taking care of them , and the excitement of having them with you, that you barely notice.

Except for the "phantom kicks" ...lol...he's 5 months old and I still get them every once in a while

And that's one of my favorite things to do. I sit in my chair and just feel her moving
