Glucose Tolerance Testing, help?
posted 29th Jan
I had my initial 1 hour glucose screening test when i was 25 weeks 6 days pregnant. I fasted for at least 8 hours prior, drank the glucose solution, and had the blood drawn an hour later with a blood glucose level of 155. My doctor's reference range was 65-139. I'm going for the three hour glucose tolerance test tomorrow morning, and I'm aware that only 1/3 of women who had a slightly high level actually are diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. I just wanted some input from women who have been in a similar situation and what the ultimate outcome was. thanks

My one hour reading was in the 190s. I was diagnosed with GD but it was controlled well with a change of diet
